Think about it for a moment. You know those feelings that you get when you are experiencing something new or that certain someone that makes your heart beat faster and makes you blush. When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Are you happy, sad, content, tired, overworked, fed up, burnt out, frustrated, excited, hopeful or stressed? Do you think of yourself as a uniquely loveable person? Do you view your life as a work of art that is woven with rich life experiences, painted with colorful relationships and sketched with the fine detail that comes from taking notice of the little things? I have really tapping into what makes my heart sing and starting this year really trying to see my life through fresh eyes. Having the courage to cut off and say no and fully embrace those things that matter most and release those things that are not serving me in my best interest.
Recently my youngest child was diagnosed with a rare eye condition. We had no idea that for the past 10 years of his life, that he was seeing double every time he tried to read. As a result, he has struggled so much and has had numerous issues with school and of course we were told ADD, learning disorders etc…when all the time it was his actual eyes that were the issues. In just one surgery, his eyes have been repaired and he is now able to see the world crystal clear.
