Teams Up With Paula Morand

Laugh Girl

Paula Morand is committed to building healthier communities through the Paula
Morand Foundation.

Paula Morand works alongside Samaritan’s Purse around the world to provide
women with training and resources that will extend their opportunities beyond
subsistence level incomes. In partnership with Samaritan’s Purse, her goal is to help
women develop entrepreneurial skills and lift their families out of the endless cycle of
poverty.

Paula has travelled to communities in Latin America, Africa and Asia, and returns to
Canada with first-hand experience of the challenges of life in a developing country,
and of the vital need for livelihood and life skills, and access to clean water. Whether
it’s here, or in Africa, or anywhere around the world, Paula believes in empowering
women to be leaders of change.

She has witnessed the proud smiles if mothers who have been able to earn enough
money to give their children health care and education.

What’s Paula’s “720”? Providing opportunities for change – and restoring hope and
dignity to women around the world.

“Paula wouldn’t have come to Liberia if she didn’t have a heart of compassion. I
remember on more than one occasion her tears of compassion flowing freely as she
saw the people of Liberia struggling to re-build their torn lives. Paula is someone
who works incredibly hard for something she believes in. She gives her all to be part
of the bigger picture and help people, and communities, to reach a goal.”
